Leslie Baker’s Program is Amazing….My now senior at Deep Run High School began working with Leslie for SAT prep his junior year. Leslie’s program provided a thorough and comprehensive review of the SAT. She was flexible with meeting times which was so important for my son’s rigorous schedule. Leslie provided tricks and techniques for taking the test. My son received excellent scores thanks to Leslie’s help.

Leslie also provided a College Application and Essay workshop over the summer called Let's Get it Done. The college application process can be very stressful. Leslie’s course helped my son to plan ahead and get organized the summer before his senior year. Leslie went above and beyond to help make his application the best version of himself it could be. She provides tips for editing and helped my son stay focused to meet deadlines and was always just a phone call or text away. Leslie’s help was invaluable to us!!!

I enrolled My son in the ‘Get It done’ session during the summer of 2021. It came highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint! Leslie walks the kids through the college application platforms and helps with the essay process. She has them brainstorm ideas and then guides them as to how the ideas can be utilized as effective essays. Leslie is encouraging, supportive and has a way of motivating the kids and getting them excited about the process. It is so worth it!!!

I participated in Mrs. Baker’s college prep class last summer before my senior year. I can’t explain how much it helped me navigate the college application process. I had no idea how it worked, but with her guidance, it was so easy. The class was so fun. I looked forward to going every day. She helped us write resumes, get your transcript, set up common app and/or coalition, and then walked you through the essay process. We brainstormed essay ideas and she helps you decide which ones best fit the college prompts. She edits your essays to ensure they’re ready to be seen by admissions officers. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her class. I got accepted into my dream school and Mrs. Baker played a huge role in helping me get there.

I can't imagine how stressful my preparation for college would be without the help of Mrs. Baker. As someone who strives for the best, I was hoping to get into every college I applied to. With this, I needed to check many things off my list. This included finishing my applications, improving my test scores, and writing the best possible college essays. I was able to breeze through the many time consuming and confusing questions that are meant to be answered on the common app. As for test scores, Mrs. Baker gave me tips on how to manage my time during the SATs, and how to go about certain types of questions. With the strategies I learned, I was able to improve in my areas of weakness, and improve my SAT superscore by almost 100 points. Finally, with the help of Mrs. Baker, I was able to improve on my writing skills, and my college essays were able to show both my intellect and my voice. I cannot thank her enough for bringing the best out of me when completing my college applications, and I cannot imagine what my college preparation would look like without the help of Mrs. Baker.
